ESG in practice: How we meet future requirements

What does ESG mean - and why does it matter?

ESG står for Environmental, Social and Governance og beskriver de tre søjler, der danner rammen for ansvarlig forretningspraksis: miljø, sociale forhold og ledelse. Hvor disse parametre engang var ”nice to have”, er ESG i dag et must-have. Nye EU-regler kræver, at virksomheder dokumenterer alt fra CO₂-aftryk og materialevalg til arbejdsforhold og ledelsespraksis.

ESG handler kort sagt om gennemsigtighed og ansvarlighed – og det gælder hele værdikæden. 

ESG stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance and refers to the three pillars that form the framework for responsible business practices: environmental impact, social responsibility, and corporate governance. What was once considered “nice to have” is now a must-have. New EU regulations require companies to document everything from CO₂ footprints and material choices to working conditions and governance practices.

In short, ESG is about transparency and accountability across the entire value chain.

ESG development - progress and challenges
